Hey there!
It’s Canadian Thanksgiving weekend my friends, which means lot’s of family time, gratitude and of course, delicious food!
I’m not one to skip on cranberry sauce (I put it on everything)!! I mean when else is it perfectly acceptable to smother jam all over your food? So for the past few years I have been experimenting with making my own cranberry sauce so I can skip the refined sugar but still enjoy myself. Making up a batch of homemade cranberry sauce makes a really cute and special gift as well!
Cranberries pack some nutrition as well and here is what they can do for you:
- Help prevent and treat urinary tract infections
- Provide important anti-inflammatory benefits, especially for the cardiovascular and digestive systems
- They have the ability to improve multiple aspects of immune function, and to lower the frequency of cold and flu symptoms
- Decreased risk of periodontal disease
- Cranberries may be able to help optimize the balance of bacteria in our digestive tract
- Antioxidants in cranberries can help to prevent disease and prevent premature aging!

I just started my organic diet and I was wondering where the best organic grocery in Chicago was. I would love to get a wide variety instead of eating the same thing every night.
