Does insurance cover your nutrition services?
Select insurance companies cover Holistic Nutritional Consultations by Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioners (RNCPs), Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioners (ROHPs) or Natural Nutritional Clinical Practitioners (NNCPs).
Green Shield Benefit Coverage
Plans known as “Flex Plans” allow members to use their selected funds for complementary health services such as those offered by a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.
Please verify with your insurance provider to confirm specific coverage. If you do not have coverage, you may communicate your request for this service to your employer. A letter from Annaliisa’s Organic Kitchen will be provided to you for your HR department upon request. Often, adding the service of a Registered Nutritionist to an existing policy is accepted.
Many insurance companies will cover the cost of nutritional consultations when your receipt is accompanied by a doctor’s referral.
What can I expect from our initial meeting?
We will briefly discuss the results you are looking for, and my basic approach to addressing it. We go through your health history and current concerns. You will receive individualized recommendations for therapeutic foods, herbs and supplements as well as practical lifestyle strategies. Most supplement recommendations can be delivered directly, no hassle. Preferred service for busy clients and those who live in a rural area.
