Recently, I wrote a blog about the health benefits of red wine.

To be honest, most of the ladies that come through my office sure do love their wine! Myself included:)

But like with anything, there is a right and wrong way to do things. And moderation is key.

I really do my best to teach folks that it’s not about restricting yourself, it’s about listening to your body, becoming more aware of what YOU need, and upgrading your favourite foods to the highest quality so you can truly enjoy them.

Below you’ll find an ‘upgraded’ version of my Sangria, so you can have your wine and drink it too!!

I’m specifically choosing pinot noir, because it has the least amount of sugar and the most amount of antioxidants compared to other red wines. Because even through red wine is rich in the antioxidant resveratrol, it’s still alcohol, and it can be hard on the liver – which is not good for hormones or waistline.

My ‘upgraded’ sangria is rich in antioxidants, enzymes, probiotics, and low in sugar. And of course super delicious:)

Enjoy! (and don’t forget to drink extra water!)

  4. 4. To serve, pour Skinny Sangria over ice-filled glasses. Be sure each glass gets a spoonful of fruit!
Recipe Notes

Not all kombucha is created equal - look for one that has less sugar and if you need to make it sweeter - add a little bit of monk fruit sweetener or stevia.
