I don’t know about you, but I can spend hours in the healthy living section of bookstores. I love grazing through the multitude of gorgeous and creative cookbooks. I’m not much of a recipe follower, but I turn to my favourite cookbooks to inspire me to create new recipes.

This book is absolutely gorgeous, inspiring and most importantly, the recipes are delicious! The author is a fellow Holistic Nutritionist and a creative cook, bringing vegetarian cuisine to a whole new level!
The Oh She Glows Cookbook: Vegan Recipes To Glow From The Inside Out
I haven’t met anyone who has used Angela’s recipes and not loved them! Her recipes are pretty simple, all plant based and always have a creative and fun twist.
The Green Kitchen: Delicious and Healthy Vegetarian Recipes for Every Day
Another inspirational cookbook with gorgeous photos. I have been following their blog for awhile, and have found many new favourite dishes from this author.
The Sprouted Kitchen Bowl and Spoon: Simple and Inspired Whole Foods Recipes to Savor and Share
Another one of my favourite healthy recipe blog turned cookbook. I especially love this whole food recipe book because it’s all about simple and delicious ‘bowls’. Add some grains, veggies, lean protein, and a super delish sauce and you’ve got yourself a meal! LOVE!
At Home in the Whole Food Kitchen: Celebrating the Art of Eating Well
Just as the title says, this book is a great resource for the art of eating well. I love that is broken down into two sections ~ the foundations: creating a healthy pantry and learning about the benefits of healthy foods, and the recipes: divided into seasons. Great resource, mostly vegan.
Thug Kitchen: The Official Cookbook: Eat Like You Give a F*ck
This isn’t your grandma’s cookbook (and if it is I’d like to meet her). I love this book because it’s full of whole food recipes, with an edge, to say the least. Most importantly, it will inspire you to not take healthy eating so damn seriously and have a little more FUN in the kitchen!!
30 Day Salad Challenge: Whole Food Recipes for Health and Energy
This recipe e-book is put together by yours truly. It was inspired by my popular 10 Day Salad Challenge and features nutritional info on top health enhancing foods, 30 creative and mouthwatering salad recipes, and a shopping list to take you through the journey toward feeling more lighter, energized and happy. The recipes are naturally gluten-free, vegan, refined sugar free, and absolutely delicious!
