I often talk about how much I love summer time and the abundance of local organic fruits there are available. Plums are one of them! They remind me of my childhood when I picked them from the trees at my grandparent’s cottage. Yum:)
These little plums have some great health benefits too of course:
- great source of vitamin C
- great source of fibre
- source of vitamins B1, B2, and B6
- loaded with antioxidants
I made this sweet little plum smoothie for my 18 month old daughter and she couldn’t get enough!! I have never actually had plum pudding but if it tastes anything like this, it’s delicious!!
